The Badlands

My co-road tripper has since moved to New Zealand. He recently bought a laptop and got access to a wimpy dial-up. He manned the digital camera during the trip so expect more photos soon.

Here is a couple of panoramics from the Badlands in South Dakota he stitched together:

hold on

I'll have a nice big post about the trip once the photos come back from the labs. This weekend, promise.

All I have are contact sheets so far. The photos look nice, but tiny. I just sent out for prints, so they should arrive in a few days.

Blog Comment Spam

A little strange. jeez

Put up a couple of comment spam deterrents. Simple stuff, like renaming files and requiring a name and email. Let's hope it does the trick.

Bellhorn and Pokey

After the Red Sox won the world series I made me way towards Fenway with the rest of my roommates. The crowds were huge in Kenmore Square. It was the usual fare: people jumping off street signs, piles of cardboard on fire, occasional soccer chants (what!?), and lots of cops in riot gear.

Peabody and Salem

Steph, Jess, Brian, and I went apple picking this Sunday at Brooksby Farms in Peabody.

After leaving the orchard we drove into Salem to check out some early Halloween festivities. The whole town is a bit strange. Seeing potions on sale was amusing. I bought one, almost.
